Well these are definitely strange times that we all find ourselves living in. That said, boilers and heating systems still need replacing (we definitely want to be nice and warm if we are expected to stay at home more) and home renovations seem to be more popular than ever at the moment.
Earlier this year, pluming and heating engineers were classified as keyworkers. During the initial lockdown phase, we continued to carry out only essential work following the government guidelines throughout.
Although things seem to be moving in the right direction, we feel that it is important to reassure our current and potential customers that if you are to invite us into you home to complete any plumbing or heating work, we will do everything we can to put you at ease and keep you safe:
- The current recommendation is that no work should be carried out in a house where an individual is self-isolating or shielding unless the work is to remedy direct risk to the household such as emergency plumbing, heating or gas work.
- If we are carrying out non-essential work at your property, we would kindly ask that you inform us if you or any member of your household develops symptoms of Covid-19.
- We are also keeping up to date with the advice given by Public Health England and are doing everything that we can to minimise risk to our customers and our staff.
- All of our workers are equipped with face masks, hand sanitiser and gloves and will socially distance from customers wherever it is possible to do so.
Stay safe and please feel free to contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions.
